Below, you’ll find all the information you need to get started as a new patient at our Austin dental practice; we encourage you to take a brief look before your next visit. This includes patient forms, financing information, and what to expect at your first visit.
Your First Visit
Before arriving for your initial appointment, you will receive a confirmation call, text, or email, as well as your new patient forms. When you arrive, you can expect:
- A warm welcome from our front desk staff, who will help ensure greater comfort by offering coffee, tea, or water.
- A team member will escort you to a treatment room to meet with Dr. Munis and a hygienist. They will listen to your concerns and answer your questions, as well as perform a thorough oral examination.
- Once the exam is complete, Dr. Munis will go over her findings with you by showing X-rays, images, and discussing the kind of treatment she recommends. She will then work with you to create a plan to address these issues.
- When it’s time to leave, you will know what kind of treatment you need (and why) and how long it will take for our team to complete the work. We’ll also provide the estimated fees. Our front desk staff will schedule your next appointment based on your convenience.
- Dr. Munis will call or send a text after your visit to check in with you and answer any questions you might have about your recovery.
Patient Forms
Part of meeting your dental needs is making sure that we have as much medical information about you as possible. This allows us to better understand how we can address your concerns and help you achieve your smile goals most effectively, especially if you are currently taking any medications or have allergies that we should know about. If you fill out the forms ahead of time, we can help you expedite your treatment experience and get you into the dental chair sooner.
Dental Insurance
Snow Dental is considered an "out-network" provider with all dental insurance plans. We are still able to use our patient's benefits, and we'll give you clear estimates of your expected out-of-pocket portion ahead of any recommended treatments.
